Through a combination of sophisticated software systems, our experienced data processing personnel can provide the following enhancements to your databases. These enhancements will allow you to perform a precisely targeted direct mail or telemarketing campaign.

Ethnicity Coding
We can add ethnic codes to any database based on surname. This is accomplished by matching your database against an extensive database of surnames that have their ethnicity already determined. Any records not matching our database are then processed using tested surname logic based on name beginnings and endings. This process will code approximately 85 percent of the records on the average database.

Gender Coding
We can add gender coding to any database, providing the database has a first name field or name field from where the first name can be extracted. The output of this process can be a simple field that contains a "M", "F", "A" or "U" meaning Male, Female, Ambiguous or Unknown respectively. We also have the ability to generate a numeric field that establishes the accuracy of the assignment. This type of field would give you the ability to identify a record as being a strong male/female or probable male/female. For most files 95-100 percent coding can be expected.

Date of Birth Coding
Depending on the availability of source data in the geographic area of your database, we can attach either a full date of birth field or a year of birth field. This process is accomplished through a merge/purge process, matching your list against regional databases that reside at our data center.

Political Party Affiliation Coding
Depending on the availability of source data in the geographic area of your database, we can attach political party affiliation. This process is accomplished through a merge/purge process, matching your list against regional voter files that reside at our data center.

Political District Coding/FIPS Coding
Using a political district dictionary, we can attach Congressional, State upper house and State Lower House districts to your databases. Also available during this process are state and county FIPS codes.

Telephone Appending
We can add, update or verify telephone fields on your databases. In addition to the phone number, a verification and confidence code is available for the output file. The software used during this process is more than a merge/purge system; it contains extensive matching logic that establishes a highly accurate telephone match. For instance, if a record in your database has a surname that appears only once in our telephone source database then a greater weight will be given to name and a lesser weight will be given to the address, based on the uniqueness of the name.
